Linda has two Animal Nursing qualifications:
An Advanced Diploma as an Equine Nursing Technician (Merit), gained at the Open College of Equine Studies. This combines academic qualifications, along with comprehensive practical work. Linda completed several months of work experience at several Equine veterinary practices, in order to gain this qualification and has several industry references to support this. This diploma took place over 3 years from 2014 to 2017, when Linda qualified. Linda does Foal sitting at one of the main Newmarket Equine practices, during the stud season. This entails sitting up with sick newborn foals and is the same as caring for a patient in intensive care.
Linda also qualified as an Animal Nursing Assistant, having studied at Milton College, Cambridge. This extends her knowledge in caring for sick and injured animals and co-ordinates very well with her equine complementary therapy work.
