PROFILE
Bloodstock Agent with practical equine experience
Born and raised in Derbyshire, where Linda spent her teens show-jumping and hunting, she came into racing at Newmarket over 30 years ago. Since then, Linda has worked for leading trainers as a work rider and racing secretary, as well as assisting at studs and running her own rehab yard and stud. In 1997 Linda set up her own bloodstock agency business, buying yearlings, mares and foals and advising owners on nominations and breeding programmes. Linda has travelled extensively and been racing in many countries, including Australia, Dubai, South Africa and the USA.
Linda will be attending Tattersalls Sales in 2024 and is happy to inspect any horses for existing or new clients; see SALES page for dates
In 2013 Linda qualified as a Small Animal Nursing Assistant, followed in 2016 by gaining an Advanced Diploma as an Equine Nursing Technician (Merit grade). Always interested in the veterinary side of racing and breeding, these academic qualifications and studies are of great help in buying and managing racing and breeding stock. During her studies for this Diploma, Linda spent several months working for equine and small animal veterinary practices, where she gained invaluable practical experience in surgery and neonatal foals. Linda can come to your stables or home and look after your horses, dogs and all family pets. She is fully insured and can provide references from existing clients.
